Issue:

• We have identified that executing REST API calls on partition resources could reduce significantly the performance of cryptographic operations over time when using FW 7.8.4 or above. This issue has not been reproduced with FW 7.8.3 or lower.
• Customers using CCC can also be impacted by this issue.

Root Cause:

• Our engineering resources are mobilized to identify the root cause of this issue.

Suggested Action:

• To keep using REST API on partition resources and CCC, we recommend to use FW 7.8.3 or earlier.
• To keep using FW 7.8.4, suspend or limit the use of REST API calls on partition resources and CCC.

Resolution Timeline:

Patches have been released to resolve these issues.
We recommend applying the appropriate patch to your system as per the version you are using.
